John and I have had the great joy of being involved with several indie movie productions, including two music videos by Christian Simmons. The most recent of these movie productions is a movie based on a play, Pruning the Family Tree, written by Bartlesville's local playwright, Dan Gordon.

Although we weren't able to be as involved in the production as much as the music videos or in our movie in 2009, we were still able to work with the producers of Pruning the Family Tree as crew members. We're actually becoming quite experienced as crew members in movie productions and as extras.
Working on a movie production is quite an education, and let me tell you, you never view movies the same way from then on.
If you ever have the opportunity to work on an indie film there are plenty of opportunities in the Bartlesville area, and probably in most areas of the country.
