But there are days that I am discouraged. Saturday night and Sunday morning when I woke up I was feeling very down. I won’t go into all the details but I got out of bed and started my morning coffee and began to have my devotions. I told the Lord why I was discouraged and poured out my heart to him. After I told him everything that was bothering me, one of the verses he’s given me in association with Ebenezer Productions came to mind.
Wait patiently on the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently on the Lord. Psalms 27:14.
I can’t tell you what it did for me and even if I tried to explain it, it would be difficult to understand unless you’ve experienced it. It’s nice to be able to give my struggles and discouragement to the Lord; and really I shouldn’t try to hide it. It’s tough to hide something from someone who knows me better than I know myself.
Wait patiently for the Lord. Be strong and courageous. Yes. Wait patiently for the Lord.
Lord, I’m waiting on you. Thank you.
