As most of you know, in 2014 I had a seizure. And, as many of you may know, once a person has had a seizure, that person isn't supposed to drive for six months. During that time without driving, I asked the Lord to help me have eyes like Sherlock, not knowing how I would need those eyes to see little details as the director of a movie.
As it turns out, a person who has set forth to direct a movie MUST have eyes like Sherlock; and so, without realizing it, the Lord gave me a desire from Him what I most needed to ask of Him.
I can't explain prayer. It's such a mystery, but it's a mystery I don't want explained. He is still teaching me to have eyes like the great fictitious detective, Sherlock Holms.
I see the Lord answering my prayer, a God inspired prayer, each time we shoot; and, in addition, he is providing other people with eyes like Sherlock. He has given me a prayer to pray, He is answering this prayer.
The short little clip I have included in this blog illustrates the need for eyes like Sherlock. Can you see why I can't use this in our final version? Most of my movie maker friends will see it right away.

"Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:4
My Lord, thank You for giving us the gift of prayer, even though we don't understand it!
