The fact is, God wants us to share all our feelings with him, not just the Polly Anna Christian feelings. He wants us to tell him when we’re hurting, when we’re angry; yes, even angry at Him. He wants us to tell him when we’re confused, and he wants to comfort us. This doesn’t mean that he will give us the answers to the why questions we have. In fact, “why?” is rarely a question in which answers are given.
It’s much easier to pray Psalms 10:14
"But you, God, see the trouble of the afflicted; you consider their grief and take it in hand. The victims commit themselves to you; you are the helper of the fatherless." Psalm 10:14
Than to pray Job 1:21
And he said: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return there. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.
