I won’t go into all that was said, there was too much and really, a person has to be there to know what kind of feelings one experiences there. My reactions to the speakers were probably not indicative of most people.

I can’t say yet that Empower Network works. There were hundreds of regular people for whom this system does work. And if it does work for John and me, it won’t be because we listened to David Wood or any of the other inspirational speakers on this platform during this convention. If this system works, it will work because it is a tool God the Father, the Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit provided for us to use. Empower Network is not our provider. God is our Provider. If He chooses to use Empower Network for our benefit, He makes us able.
The best experience I had was meeting a man who was originally from South Africa but now is living with his wife and daughter in Austin. Paseka had a lot wise things to say and I enjoyed visiting him. I expressed to him some of my feelings about what was going on in the conference and he understood what I was saying. Then he told me he was a farmer, among other things, and that every time they had a harvest, they had to separate the chaff from their wheat harvest, and this is what we have to do. There’s wisdom in that.
Thank you, Paseka for being willing to talk with John and me. You were the highlight of the meetings for me.
We went to Bubba Gumps, a restaurant that celebrates Forrest Gump, the movie. I’ve never wanted to see it, but after going there, and seeing clips without hearing the dialog, I decided I wanted to see it. Sometime in the near future we’ll go out on Netflix and see it.
Apparently there’s a big thing coming in September that will make Empower Network even better than it is now. We were a little disappointed that we missed some of this, but I was glad we ate. I wouldn’t have been able to comprehend it hungry.
After the Saturday conferences were over we were to go to a party for the team we belonged to. Of course, the main topic of conversation was the new business explosion that’s coming. It excited all of us, even me.
Unexpectedly David Wood came into the party to give a ra-ra talk to this team. With him he had his body guard. I couldn’t help but laugh to myself at the satirical scene in front of me. The bodyguard looked like something out of Men in Black.
I have to say, right here, that there is something I appreciated from Empower Network. They give a portion of their earnings to the poor. At this convention they gave a significant check (I think it was $100,000.00) to a local Homeless Shelter. At the previous convention they gave a large amount for help during the Boston Bombing. Thank you Empower Network.
Another late night. John and I crashed as soon as we hit the pillow.
