Some people might wonder why I love road trips. I’ve wondered that myself. I think part of it has to do with my childhood. Every year we would drive from California to South Texas to see Mama Grande, my grandmother. I loved the adventure; and we had many.
The reason I love road trips now is because all that empty land is like an empty scene and it’s up to me to add characters and events to make a story out of it.
Does it seem strange that Carlos has an Irish name? It’s not really as strange as one might think, and my family history is the reason I know this.
During the Irish potato famine, many Irish people came to the United States, and some moved on to Texas and Mexico. Some of the Irish married Mexicans, and so through one of these unions my grandparents (I don’t know whether it was great or great great) were born. Apparently Carlos O’Kelly has the same sort of union somewhere in his lineage as well.
The hotel we slept in was a Super 8, very clean and very comfortable. We got up early, had breakfast and were on the road again.
Empower Network is an affiliate program where, by blogging, one can make money in marketing the blog, whether by writing, audio or video and selling the company’s product or by selling one’s own product.
This company’s product is a blog platform and a personal development product that helps one attain one’s financial goal.
The difference between Empower Network and most MLM and Affiliate companies is that a person can earn 100% commissions on products as well as recruit others who will also earn 100% commission.
Another thing that makes Empower different is the blogging platform can be applied to multiple products. If, like me, you're a photographer, you can use the product to sell your photography, or your pottery, or any number of items. With the more advanced package, one is given leads that will help with the marketing.

Tomorrow is Part 2 of our Denver Business Trip.
